The Infectious Biological Hazardous Waste (here forth referred to as RPBI - Residuos Peligrosos Biológicos Infecciosos), is generated during the health assistance activities in benefit of human beings or animals, mainly at health centers, clinical or research laboratories, bioterials (biotechnology and new materials), education and scientific research centers, that due to their components could represent a risk for the public health and the environment.
The mentioned hazardous waste is regulated by the Mexican Official Norm NOM-087-SEMARNAT-SSA1-2002, and includes the control of blood, culture, and biological-infectious agents' stumps, as well as the pathological ones, the non-anatomical waste and the sharp pointed objects.
SIMARI has the necessary infrastructure to provide the Comprehensive Manipulation of this type of waste, including the training of our clients, the collection in appropriate containers, as well as the specialized transportation and the adequate destruction of the waste.
